Never to be Forgotten:
Marcia Strassman 1946-2014

Marcia Strassman, the actress who first came to prominence as Gabe Kablan's wife in Welcome Back Kotter, has died at the age of 66. She is remember here at a sci-fi blog for her roles in Tremors [TV], Earth Minus Zero, Highlander, And You Thought Your Parents Were Weird, Brave New World, Time Express and the role pictured here in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. While she is not younger than I am, I am just getting used to the fact that people from TV in the 1960s are dying, and I am in no way comfortable with people who became famous in the 1970s passing away.

Best wishes to the family and friends of Marcia Strassman, from an adoring fan. She is never to be forgotten.
