Never to be forgotten: Dave Legeno 1963-2014

The actor Dave Legeno, whose best known role in genre is as the werewolf Fenrir Greyback in last three Harry Potter films, has died at the age of 50. His body was found by two hikers in a remote wash in Death Valley.The cause of death appears to be heat related and the early investigation shows no sign of foul play.

A big guy in top physical condition, his other roles in genre include Batman Begins and Snow White and the Huntsman. Other big budget productions in which he appeared are Snatch, MI-5, East Enders, Ripper Street, Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Borgia.
