Never to be forgotten:
Maximilian Schell 1930-2014

Maximilian Schell, the Austrian actor probably best known for his work in Judgment at Nuremburg and The Man in the Glass Booth, also appeared in several genre films, including The Black Hole, Vampire, The Vampire Wars and Deep Impact. In interviews, some writers make it clear that they think he was slumming in The Black Hole, but he defends the film as being "a favorite with youngsters".

Best wishes to the family and friends of Maximilian Schell, from a fan. May he never be forgotten.

  1. He may have been slumming in The Black Hole (No worse than Deep Impact) but the final scene where his eyes stare fixedly out of the robot visor is an image hard to forget.
