Never to be Forgotten: Rick Ducommun 1956-2015

Rick Ducommun, pictured here on the right with Bill Murray and Rick Overton in Groundhog Day, has died this month at the age of 58. Like many actors from the 1980s, including Mr. Overton, he started as a stand-up comedian. Besides the Bill Murray/Harold Ramis classic, he also had roles in the genre productions Brimstone, Ghost in the Machine, Groundhog Day, Encino Man, Gremlins 2, Little Monsters, Spaceballs and Max Headroom.While it is not completely obvious from his credit list, Mr. Ducommun was born in Canada.

I am about a half year older than Mr. Ducommun and it's always a little creepy for me to post a memorial for someone younger than I am.
