Never to be Forgotten:Gilbert Lewis 1941-2015

Character actor Gilbert Lewis has died at the age of 74. He is mentioned on the blog because of roles in Candyman, Virtual Combat and the TV version of Alien Nation, but the picture here is from the role I remember most fondly, The King of Cartoons in the first season of Pee-Wee's Playhouse, a show I don't consider genre for reasons that passeth understanding. (In later seasons, the role was played by William Marshall.)

Best wishes to the family and friends of Gilbert Lewis, from a fan. He is never to be forgotten.
