Your comment repeated itself for some reason and I removed one of the copies.

No mention of kinship between Callie and Kallie on imdb.com.
Prof. Hubbardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16575880031145705761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247002493176705100.post-2310068447334320732015-02-20T04:36:06.352-08:002015-02-20T04:36:06.352-08:00No one from the cast has ever said a word against ...No one from the cast has ever said a word against Andre in that movie either. But we won't look forward to your review of _Over the Top_.

Assume Kalli Thorne is not related to Callie Thorne.

Hillary Duff is permanently linked in my mind with Roger Clemens, possibly because she went to school with one of his children. Since the stake that pretty much sent her career into eclipse was _Material Girls_, the nepotism tag seems all the more appropriate: here a case of WTF instead of FTW, perhaps.Ken Houghtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01440837287933536370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247002493176705100.post-74967809994756023372015-02-19T09:01:55.725-08:002015-02-19T09:01:55.725-08:00In most movies and TV, if I see a bad performance,...In most movies and TV, if I see a bad performance, I chalk it up as an error on the writer or director. (Exceptions: Vanna White in Goddess of Love and Bristol Palin in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, where the blame goes to the casting director.) But when it comes to acting in wrestling, the problem IS acting skills. (Exception: I will not have a word said against Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride. Ever.)
Prof. Hubbardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16575880031145705761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247002493176705100.post-44613965614116978252015-02-19T08:35:59.322-08:002015-02-19T08:35:59.322-08:00I vaguely remember Big John Studd wrestling back i...I vaguely remember Big John Studd wrestling back in the late 70s or early 80s. I had always thought of professional wrestling as "Full Contact Gymnastics Exhibitions" but I like your reference to them as stuntmen. They really are Exhibition Stunt Performers. Either way, I have never doubted the fitness and athletic prowess of its participants ... just their acting skills.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
